Children’s Church (Preschool–5th Grade)

Welcome

Children’s Church is a place where children experience worship in hands-on, meaningful, and age-appropriate ways. It helps children connect what they hear in worship with how they live through story, creativity, prayer, and community.

Worship Flow (11:00am Rhythm)

• Children begin in Sanctuary with families
• Children’s bulletins and activity materials are available each week to help children engage during worship and Children’s Church
• participate in “Time with Children” message
• Are dismissed to Children’s Church downstairs
• Continue worship engagement through creative response

Age-Based Groups

Children are welcomed into age-appropriate groups designed to support their learning and engagement:

• Preschool–1st Grade – story, play, and early faith formation
• 2nd–5th Grade – deeper engagement with Scripture through discussion and creative response

Groups may adjust based on attendance and ministry needs.

What Children Experience

Each week children engage in:

🎭 Storytelling that brings Scripture to life
🎨 Art and creative response activities
🎶 Music, singing, and joyful praise
🙏 Prayer and reflection
🤝 Group games and community building

Worship Workshop (4th–5th Grade)

On select Communion Sundays, 4th–5th graders are invited to a special Worship Workshop experience.

This time helps children:
• Learn more about worship practices
• Understand Communion in an age-appropriate way
• Reflect on worship themes in a deeper setting

Children return to the sanctuary in time for Communion with their families.
