Worship at Westminster
Worship is a vital part of our mission here at Westminster. We seek to combine a dynamic traditional music program with preaching and liturgy which is both grounded in tradition and relevant to contemporary life. Westminster is a very inclusive and diverse congregation, and that is often reflected in our worship life.
Westminster is very much a lay-led congregation, and as such there are many ways to participate in the worship life of the church:
- Liturgists-Help with reading of the word and sacrament
- Ushers and greeters-Distribute bulletins, welcome people before service
- Acolytes (youth)-Light and snuff candles, lead ministers out of sanctuary
- Music Program
- Chancel Choir (adult)
- Westminster Choristers (high-school youth)
- Boys' Choir (3rd-8th grade)
- Girls' Choir (3rd-8th grade)
- Rainbow Choir (4-6 years old)
- Young Musicians' Class
- Handbell Choir (adult and youth)
- Brass Choir (adult and youth)
- Trombone Choir (adult and youth)
- The Westminster Organs and the Musica Organi Recital Series
- The Friends of Music of Westminster Church
- Flower Guild
- "A Time with the Children"-Talk to children during the service
- Children's Worship-Help with children ages 5 through 2nd grade during the 11:00 a.m. Worship service If you'd like to help in any of these areas, contact the church office.

Sunday Worship: 9 & 11 a.m.
Sunday School: 10 a.m.
Communion: First Sunday of the month
