Wednesday, June 20th, 2012New Solar Panels Dedicated
Sunday, June 17th, 2012WPC held a “solar-bration” in the courtyard to dedicate our new rooftop solar panels today. Please thank Westminster’s Environmental and Property Ministry Teams for their hard work and research to make this possible. Read more about what the panels do on our new solar page.

VBS for All Ages
Thursday, June 14th, 2012Mark your calendars for a great week for all ages from Sunday, June 24, through Wednesday, June 27! Hours are 5:45 – 7:45 p.m. We have some great speakers lined up to speak to the adult class. Be sure to invite your friends and neighbors for this fantastic week of fun, please have them register by emailing Angela Grobe @ angela_wpc@comcast.net or calling 556-8034. Each evening begins with dinner made by our Loaves and Fishes cooking teams.
Speakers for the Adults
Sunday ~ Parci Gibson from Knox County Wastewater Management will speak on general water quality in Knoxville or steps folks can take to reduce water pollution contribution and mimic natural hydrology on a site to be a good steward of the land.
Monday ~ Harvey Abouelata territory manager for Choice Solar and Geothermal and Chair of the Membership Committee for the Tennessee Solar Energy Industries Association (TenneSEIA) will speak on Why Renewable Technology?, Economic Development, Energy Independence and Environmental Stewardship, Evaluate, Reduce and Produce, Renewable Technology, How do jump into the Renewable Energy Pool – start with a caulk gun and a light bulb.
Tuesday ~ John Nolt Professor of philosophy at UT will speak on the ethics of global climate change
Wednesday ~ William Milam member of Westminster who will speak about the Living Waters for the World project that teaches people to become trainers to build and operate systems to deliver clean water to communities and villages around the world.
Preschool ~ 5th Grade
The children will be exploring the Parable of the Sower and what the Bible story and creation care means for their everyday lives, and for all creation around the globe.
Middle School age will be assisting with the kids
High School kids will be helping with Games
